2020 Kansas City Ice Bowl Satellite and Main Event Information
Please help Kansas City Disc Golf in its partnership with Bishop Sullivan Center food pantry to fight hunger in the Kansas City metro by taking part in the 2020 Kansas City Ice Bowl. Satellite events will be running most weekends in January of 2020, leading up to the Ice Bowl Main Event at Blue Valley Park in KCMO on January 26th!
There are four different entry tiers for each participant to choose from when registering for the satellite event of your choice. Each entrant will receive a commemorative disc and mini set. Unlimited mulligans can also be purchased to make your score go as low as is can. If you’d like to play additional satellite events, just pay an additional $10. Your lowest overall score will be used in seeding during the Final 9 at the Blue Valley Main Event. The winner of each card during the Final 9 will receive a disc, and the lowest overall score will be named the 2020 Kansas City Ice Bowl Champion and have their name etched on the KC Ice Bowl Trophy!
Lunch at the Main Event will be provided to anyone who entered to play a satellite event with a chili contest, sponsored by KCDG and its members. If you wish to submit an entry to the chili contest, contact the event director by the information at the bottom. We’ll also be hosting a CTP contest during lunch with a number of fantastic prizes!
We will be using Disc Golf Scene to handle all preregistrations this year. You can sign up for satellite events using the link below as well as purchase custom Ice Bowl apparel. While there will be some apparel onsite at the satellites and Main Event, it will be limited. Be sure to preregister to guarantee any apparel options you’d like! Preregistration will close the day before each satellite. Note that some satellite events may have a cap since they will follow a shotgun start format. There will be no caps at the final satellite event during the morning of January 26th at Blue Valley or during the Final 9 in the afternoon.
You can preregister for any of the 2020 Kansas City Ice Bowl satellite events by following the link below.
Information for each satellite event (as well as the Main Event) can be found on the events page of the KCDG Facebook page.
Even if you’re unable to attend any of the satellites or the Main Event, we ask that you consider donating to KCDG to help us fight hunger in the Kansas City area. If you live out of the Kansas City area and would like to contribute, we would be happy to work with you to make sure you get merchandise you request.
