The 38th Annual Kansas City Wide Open is proud to announce its course selections! As Kansas City is a large metro with a number of courses in a number of municipalities, the tournament staff made it a focus in 2020 to include courses from both Kansas and Missouri, highlighting some of our fantastic tracks in both the core of the city and the suburbs. We’re also happy to announce that 4 disc golf manufacturers have stepped up to provide sponsorship on each property!

Wyandotte County Park DG Course (Bonner Springs, KS) – Sponsored by Dynamic Discs
Water Works Park (KCMO) – Sponsored by Prodigy Disc
Bad Rock Creek (Liberty, MO) – Sponsored by Discmania
Heritage Park (Olathe, KS) – Sponsored by Latitude 64

While we the pool assignments for each day will be made closer to the event, here are the tentative courses each division will play:

All Pro Divisions – Water Works, Wyandotte, Wyandotte
MA1, MA40, FA1 – Water Works, Wyandotte, Bad Rock
All Other Am Divisions – Water Works, Bad Rock, Heritage

Running an event of this size wouldn’t be possible without a large event staff. We have had 4 individuals step up as course directors on each course. If you see them out playing or working this spring, please be sure to thank them.

Wyandotte – Lee Killian
Water Works – Drew D. Neitzel
Bad Rock Creek – Tina Patterson
Heritage – Cade Garrelts

Expect more announcements in the coming weeks (yes, players pack announcements will be coming soon). Even with the additional amateur course (bringing our max am field to 216), we expect this field to fill. If you haven’t registered, you can click on the link below. We can’t wait to see you in June!
