Prairie Center Park

Prairie Center Park was first designed in 1987. The mostly open Kansas prairie landscape was populated by the City of Olathe’s arborist with over two hundred trees of varying species over the next decade. Many of these have become mature, shade producers now, to the delight of the many Disc Golfers that play here. The course features Innova Discatchers with multiple placements, concrete tees (including five holes with dual concrete tees), a practice basket area, benches, restrooms, and multiple picnic shelters. A variety of shots are required, with disc-swallowing pine trees that will add at least a stroke to your score if you’re shot is errant. The course has served as a great school of Disc Golf, producing many of the Kansas City areas most skilled players. Beginners and seasoned professionals alike find Prairie Center an enjoyable place to play.
