Our Kansas City disc golf community has been frustrated with the uncertainty that has surrounded us these last few months.

While Covid-19 has brought our sport to a near standstill, with leagues and tournaments being cancelled across the world, the cancellation of said events pales in comparison to the violent deaths of Americans that have driven citizens of all major US cities to protest in the streets. Our city is no exception.

The disc golf community in Kansas City has a long history of mobilizing people from all walks of life towards the common goal of growing the sport of disc golf. As leaders in our community, we have a responsibility to acknowledge the issues around us and assess the ways in which we can implement change. We must continue to support each other in these trying times and always look for ways to come together.
