Kansas City Disc Golf is pleased to announce that it has established formal ties with the city of Sugar Creek, MO and the LaBenite Disc Golf Course!

The course, designed by KCDG member Dick Parker, combines a wooded front 9 and an open back 9 that will challenge the best players in Kansas City. While 6 shorter tee pads knock 1000′ off of the total length, expect this course to test every shot in your bag, as well as your scrambling and mental game. The city of Sugar Creek (and its 3200 residents) has gone all in with its first established disc golf course, and see great benefit in both the sport of disc golf for Kansas City as well as a partnership with Kansas City Disc Golf. This course will be featured in a few tournaments on the Kansas City Disc Golf calendar this year, including the Kansas City Flying Disc Challenge, The Conquering of LaBenite Park, and the 40th Annual Kansas City Wide Open.
Look for an upcoming announcement for a C-Tier to be held in conjunction with the course’s grand opening on April 2nd!
