About Wooded Prairie (Shawnee Mission Park)
Wooded Prairie opened in 2025 and replaced the original Shawnee Mission Park course, which dated back to 2007. Scott Reek designed it, and very little of the old layout survived. The new 18 holes mix tight wooded fairways, open prairie and classic park-style holes. Most holes have a long and a short tee, the baskets are Veterans and every tee is concrete.
Most holes have a long and a short tee. Dogs must be on a leash. Restrooms are seasonal.
