Kansas City Disc Golf Inc. (“KCDG,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Contact & form details. When you submit our contact form, ace report, event/volunteer requests, or membership forms, we collect the information you provide (such as name, email, phone, and your message).
• Account information. If you create a forum/member account, we store your email address and display name. Passwords are managed securely by our authentication provider and are never stored in plain text.
• Waiver signatures. When you sign an event/league waiver, we record your name, email, electronic signature, and — for legal compliance with the federal ESIGN Act — the date, your IP address, and your browser/device information.
• Forum content. Posts and topics you create in the community forum, along with your display name.
• Usage data. Basic, aggregated analytics about how visitors use the site (such as pages viewed), which help us improve it.

How we use your information

We use the information to respond to your inquiries, administer memberships and events, process ace-fund payouts, maintain legally required waiver records, operate the community forum, send you transactional emails (such as account or form confirmations), and improve the website. We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers

We share information only with the service providers needed to run the site, including hosting and database providers, our email-delivery provider, and a bot-protection (CAPTCHA) provider. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security commitments.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in to your account. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Data retention & your choices

We retain information for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal obligations (for example, waiver records). You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us — though we may need to retain certain records, such as signed waivers, where required by law.

Children's privacy

The site is not directed to children under 13. Waivers for minors must be signed by a parent or legal guardian.
