Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about playing, joining, and getting involved with KCDG.
How do I become a member?
Join or renew online for just $25/year through our membership page. Your dues directly support course maintenance, leagues, and youth programs.
Do I need a membership to play in leagues?
No — leagues are open to everyone. KCDG members pay a lower league fee, so a membership usually pays for itself quickly if you play regularly.
Are the courses free to play?
Yes. All of the courses we maintain are free and open to the public. We keep them in great shape thanks to member dues and volunteers.
How do I sign the waiver?
Complete the current waiver online — it only takes a minute. A signed waiver is required to play in club events and leagues, and it must be renewed each year.
Where do my dues and donations go?
Directly back into local disc golf: course installation and upkeep, baskets and signage, league and event support, youth and beginner programs, and charitable events like the Ice Bowl. KCDG is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
How do I report an ace?
Use the Ace Report form and we'll handle the ace-pool payout.
How can I volunteer?
We'd love the help! Sign up on the volunteer page for work days, events, and course projects across the metro.
How do I request an event or tournament?
Tournament directors can submit details through the event request form. Review the event expectations first.
