KCDG BoD Meeting Minutes — September 11, 2023

Present: Chris Timko, Jerry Patterson, Jan Stumfoll, Pete Cashen, Michael Belancio, Cary Rivard, Laura Hayes, John Thompson, Lupe Herrada
2024 Kansas City Ice Bowl
Lupe Herrada led the efforts last year and will coordinate again. Scott Reek is interested in helping with the tournament side. Timko will help with the charity auction. The committee (Timko, Lupe, and Scott) will meet again this month to figure out details.
2023 KCWO Financial Update
Chris provided explanation of the KCWO finances. Over $76,000 in sponsorships. Over $13,000 spent supporting volunteers. A small profit of $7,000 was made that will go toward next year's tournament and/or infrastructure.
2023 Club Championships Update
Jan is planning for Heritage and Birdland, with the final round at Wilbur Young. Laura can help with Heritage. The plan is for three rounds — folks should be able to play any of the rounds even if they can't win overall.
2023 KCDG Club Dinner and Elections
Reservation set at Old Pike. Lee Killian of Fresh Leeks providing dinner. Jerry getting beer from City Barrel. Timko is running the election similar to last year — five spots open for election. Ballots will go out approximately Nov 1 to end of November.
Kansas Reports
Some folks looking at new options for Rosedale basket locks. Plans to get the WyCo MOU signed. City Park article in the upcoming PDGA edition. JCPRD Art 9 walk-through going well.
Missouri Reports
Getting prices for new teepads at Bad Rock. Updates from Swope and KCMO.
